Took her for a 600km drive. Includes Breedsnek. Lost 5th gear. Went to my dad's place and gearbox topcover had been repaired with pratley steel. Peace fell in the box and jammed the 5th gear. Got a cover from Albert.and the disco is fixed.

Now that's what a REAL Landy is. No body-off stuff and then you need a Masters in Electronics afterwards.

Replaced both my old key fobs with new imported ones. Cost about R130. 😁👍

Finally installed a 150W Inverter to run my laptop and LTE Router, with the solar panels I can now work during power failures, installed a nice LED work light and wired up some LED lights in the RTT and under the awning. Good fun.

Hit a mother sized pothole north of Pandamatenga, tyre has a nice bulge. Hope I can get a spare 19 inch in Kasane.

Thanks: No issues with rubbing anywhere? I read somewhere here that there was rubbing on that size (as opposed to the 60 profiles). Any problems fitting the spare? Have you reprogrammed your speedo? Sorry about all of the questions!

    No worries, query away.

Is rubbing on full lock on the chassis slightly, even with 30mm spacers. Nothing major and will go away after a few thousand km I reckon. Or can always heat up the piece if chassis and knock in a bit.. It's only about 2-3mm

Havent done speedo yet. But will if need be when I get the IID tool next week.

Spare has to be deflated by 50% to fit and its tight. Plan to remove heatshield later and then it should fit fine.

Had to grind the outside rim of the calipers down as these rims still touched by 1mm.

Other than that, they are great.
