    Default Ford Everest accessories

    Hi all,

What is the availability of accessories for the Everest? I'm thinking of buying a 4x4 auto and using it for moderate over-landing. For this I would need to add a snorkel, a dual battery systems, a long range fuel tank, and a roof racks? How many of the old Ranger's accessories fit the Everest?

I have seen an Everest with a snorkel, so they do exist - who are the suppliers?

Has anyone fitted a dual battery systems under the bonnet? From memory, I think there was enough space there.

There appears to be plenty of space under the rear of the Everest for a fuel tank (where I assume the spare wheel would be if it were a bakkie. Alan from Northern Offroad says that the they don't make one as the Ford tow hitch interferes. Are there any options here? Doesn't the old Ranger the tow hitch allow for the spare wheel to be stowed under the load bin?

And lastly, is there an easy (and cheap) roof rack for the Everest? I wold probably want to mount my old roof tent on it.

    Cheers,
    Jonathan

Andrewfus recently acquired, and sold, an Everest due to the unavailability of aftermarket accessories. He even states in his signature that the vehicle is "Unmodifiable".

You can contact Arnold Venter of CRD at [email protected] for a long range fuel tank. They can build it for you for +- R7 000. Enjoy your Everest - I enjoy mine every time behind the wheel.

Snorkel is exactly the same as a 2011 Ranger as they have the same air in take and fender shape , but I only found 1 or 2 4x4 centres willing to fit the Snorkel as it is made for Ranger only blha blha blha

but it will work. Roofrack you can go for Frontrunner. You can make it fit with the OEM rails.

More then enough space under the bonnet for a dual battery system.

Fuel tank you will have to get made custom as 1. Not enough demand
    2. Tow hitch can be in the way and is different from the Ranger

most nudge bars for a Ranger will fit on the Everest

That would be Meyerton and not Vtown. Had a sump gaurd made by them, perfect. Any and all assesories that fit a Ranger / BT50 '09 - '11 will fit the Everest, don't let them tell you crap anywhere. It is excactly the same chassis.
The guys at Lynx are really friendly and he'll do his best to help you.

Thanks for the correction it is in Mayerton. I was there on Tuesday and quoted me R10k for a steel front replacement bumper. Do any of you know if there is a company that can help me out with a rear difflock? If not will a 201 Ranger rear axle fit on the Everest?

No diff lock available for the Everest and a Ranger Diff will not work as the 2 vehicles have different diff Ratios

Thx. They emailed me a quote. It looks like they do quite a lot for the Everest, including a 80 litre tank aux tank.

Somebody post a pic of one with some mods please. I have yet to see a decent looking everest. No offence to their owners!

I found a company in fourways that makes a pretty decent bullbar for the Everest ..

    http://bosbumper.co.za/index.php?id_...oller=category

Lynx is a great option, but forking out 16K for a bullbar is a bit steep ....

    Morning Gents

been having a real struggling just getting some accessories for my Everest.

I had a look at the links posted on this thread, with lynx4x4 website not active.

Are their any other places that can assist with mods and accessories?

Looking of a bullbar, no the entire ARB type bullbar and roof rack..

Anyone found some luck in sourcing parts?

    TIA

I am selling my Frontunner Windcheetah roofrack that was on my 2010 Everest if anyone is interested. Looking for R4000, but we can talk about price.

Frikkie does it fit onto the standard rails? Will you take 3500?

    Reviving an old thread.

I am having issues finding more than one supplier or options for a 2016 Everest.

    1) Looking for suspension upgrades - either budget or full suspension. All I can find at this point is a full Ironman kit.
    2) Looking for rock sliders - all I can find are Gobi-X sliders.
    3) Looking for a snorkel option. The Everest has a different air box compared to the Ranger. What to do there?

    Help would be highly appreciated.
