Yes, we had to pimp out all our Yoyota owners in order to pay the bill. Sadly, they are not that marketable

In the letter about the day it starts off with:

This family day has been implemented to foster better interclub relations between the Member Clubs in the Cape Region. An appeal is made to the committees of the Member Clubs to encourage their members to take part in this family day. The sole function of this day is to have fun and enjoy ourselves.
Then I receive word that if we get a sponsor to assist with costs we have to pay R2000 upfront to the AAWDC Cape?

Also noted in the letter, when will this notice be sent out?

    18. Club teams are encouraged to approach the Planning Committee with offers of sponsorship for their gate. This will allow the sponsor to decorate and have a display at that gate. More details regarding the cost of such sponsorships will be supplied in the next letter.
    19.
    And finally

The entrance fee for spectators is R30 per adult and R15 for scholars.
So the entry fee in fact is R1440 + R2000 for a team that gets a sponsor to assist?

We all know very well that the easiest way to scare off spectators is to charge entrance fees, for the average family of 4 it will cost R90 to go watch their mates play?

    Default All on track

Yes I agree it has been a bit quiet but all is on track for the best CIF Day yet.

    See attached Poster.

Hilux have decided to focus all the attention on organising the day so XJ Society has taken over their spot.

Come support your 4x4Community team on the day. The famous Gig Rig will be set up for your convinience by the WCCC Challenge so support them as well.

    Default Looking Good

We had a successful Meeting Last Night and all is on track, please remember Hi-Viz vests for the Marshals.

Generally we still need a lot of indemnity forms - no form- no ride = no points.

Morning Ashley, thanks again for all your input. Where can we get hold of the "official" pictures that were taken of the teams?

Hi Barnie for the past three years we have taken photos and then when it comes to the end no-one worries about the photo's even though we create a disc for team they don't bother to collect it. Same happened with certificates. This year we informed the Club Reps at the meeting that we are not taking photo's and suggested they do thier own.

So long story but the reply is that there were no "Official Photographers"
