Stainless steel manufacturing in Gauteng

Hi There,
I am planning to put a rooftop tent on my Jeep Wrangler, but as the "hardtop" canopy is actually plastic with a 40kg limit. I worked out how to provide four stress points to connect it to and support it on the roll cage without having to weld it on. I am now looking for spmebody in Gauteng - read JHB - environment who will be able to make this with stainless steel (for strength).

Any recommendations of competent people who will be able to do a good and nice job?

Any recommendations will be appreciated.

Zakon, they are in the phone book. They are, as far as I know, the only company north of the Orange river that polishes stainless steel. They manufacture, amongst other things, all the modern stainless steel kitchen kickplates and splashbacks. Although not dealers per se, they will sell/manufacture small quantities/items. Lead times are very long, but I have never had a problem with quality.

You can also try contacting SASSDA (SA Stainless Steel Development?Association...) They have a list of accredited service providers. The service provider's affiliation with SASSDA will probably ensure at least a minimum level of acceptable quality. I dont have a number though. You could get their details on the net of from a large concern like Columbus.
