    Default Fuel Availability

I have a range of between 800 and 1000km on my normal tanks. Is there fuel available in and around Tanzania so that I do not need to carry extra fuel on the roof??

Absoutely no problem. They even have fuel stations in the Serengeti! Seriously on main routes there are probably as many fuel stations as there are in SA.

The only place you may want to stockpile is Malawi but that is an issue of supply not location of fuel stations.

The only time we took extra fuel was for extended periods in more remote game parks eg CKGR/Kafue or to transit Turkana which is a five day journey between fuel - even there there was fuel for sale in jerries.
