    Will do.

My Disco2 had cruise control and it spoils you, especially when you on the road for 12 hours. Plus I found you do a better time because you stay at a more constant speed, without it you at 130 then 110 then 130 again.

The feedback is the part number has been created locally, they waiting to for confirmation on availability/pricing/something in that line.

I mail the parts manager each day for a progress report but they seem to be nervous about supplying the parts because there is no Vin liked to the order.

As soon I make progress I'll update.

Not from my side, no I never got a reply from MitsPro so I phoned them and they pretty much said they'd have to check what wiring harnesses are in my car and what ECU, etc. and because I'm in PE, that's not gonna happen I thought they'd have some useful advice seeing as though they are supposed to specialise in Mitsubishi

    Update: received the harness yesterday.

A bit longer than expected, but apparently includes the radio control harness

The stork is still to be unpacked from the containers, will update again when I get it. cheers

Got my 3.2 with Cruize control fitted, got her secondhand, on long open stretch drives its such a pleasure, that combined with the antique autobox makes it my favourite vehicle, dont care that Wegry tunes its the worst vehicle, hey ours dont brake

Agree unfortunately all the magazines are so predictable, its the same over and over.... the Ranger is awesome, Rok's engine is to small, the Toyota is to old and the Isuzu not fancy enough and the Triton is the ugliest bakkie ever made with the worst 4x4 etc etc, thank you i will keep my Triton!

Sorry for the hijack of the thread.

Tintin cant send a pic at this stage unfortunately, but i have seen on the forum photos of the same system, im sure you'll be able to find them, i brought the vehicle 2nd hand with it installed already, first owner had it done which i was very grateful for. The lever arm sits on the left of the steering column, pulling it up or down increases / decreases speed and pulling forwards or backwards activates it if i remember correctly now, then on the lever itself is some extra knoppies which i havent really paid attention to, swambo knows what they are for.

Hope it helps, apologies for not being able to send pics.

The harness cost R126.38, still waiting for the cost of the stork, there is a "landing" cost involved so they couldn't give me a final price up front. Put down R500 deposit anyway.

Thanks Raider, I attached a stalk type cruise control from the Bestech website...is yours like the one in the pic?

I'm going to email Bestech and see if they can do it with a Pajero Sport steering wheel and at what cost?

I'm really keen to see the end result from Ian - SA and his cruise control

Awesome info, got a feeling I'll need to replace the brake switch as well. But I will see if the light activates when i get the switch.
