    Default Job needed

I am a 55yo that have lost my job October 2012. I am currently looking after a complex on contract basis but only 3 hours per day. I have been involved as IT manager up to 2003. I left for Moz and my plans did not work out. Left Moz in 2004 and started doing factory maintenance. June 2005 I started as an estate manager in Morningside, Sandton for 2 complexes, 1 full time (with housing-lost this because they wanted me to work 3 hrs per day longer at no extra pay) and 1 part time. Can do plumbing, welding, electrical etc oh84five145834

Seems this thread is running well.
Would it be a good, or bad idea to create a seperate area in the classifieds for this to keep it more organised and make it easier to find stuff?

It's not easy to follow classifieds, but easy to stay up to date on threads (like this one) using subscriptions and so on.

If each offer/lead had its own thread, it may make for quicker scanning and like DCR says, easy to subscribe etc.
Also saves having to trawl through heaps of unrelated stuff.

    Default The Job Finder Thread

Guys, IF & WHEN this Thread works, we can ask Dirk for a Category, but let's just see how this goes 1st.

Dirk is not going to open a Category that then lies dormant.

I'd 1st like to see 2 or 3 people placed...

    Agreed?

I reckon rather leave it like it is. Splitting it will result in tons of short little threads. We don't want it to turn into a job forum.

I just check it daily & see if I can match the people with the jobs I'm aware of, then PM them if I need more info.

Default Yesterday was n sad day

Since my contract finished in Saudi , I am back in S.A and still searching for a job.

Yesterday we made the decision to let the ML go as well so no 4x4 any more for now.

So for now we are still on the job hunting and keeping our heads high.

Luckily we have the little C1.

I was always under the impression that if you worked offshore, you made the mega bucks, come back, buy a house and two Jeeps.

Ek glo daar wag vir jou mooi dinge.
