HELP : Zeek - Pajero 3.2 gearbox issue (Colesberg) (Problem sorted)

He (Rico) is about 5km from Colesberg (coming from Cape Town)

I spoke to him over the phone and he has gearbox overheating issues with his pajero 3.2 auto.

I suspect either he has the wrong oil in or the oil level was incorrect.

I gave him instruction to pull over and idle if the A/T temp light comes on until it switches off and then nurse the car further.

If somebody can help with contacts as to where he can get the oil flushed with Dia Queen and fix an oil leak on it (not sure if it's the culprit or cause or if it's the overflow due to the heat)

His number is zero eight too ate seven for 7 double 0 eight.

he just phoned me again. Car is juddering so he called it a day and is trying to get a tow in through outsurance.

Any help with good mechanic or maybe just accommodating him if the car needs to spend the night in colesberg or bloem (not sure up to where outsurance will flatbed him)

I sent him the link to this thread so he can watch it while the waiting game continues as outsurance may take some time.

Words of encouragement may help him here but organisational with him should be done via phone directly.

Once we're sorted it would be nice to find out if AJ was available to help or not.
I just did a search on the forum looking for somebody saying they were from Colesberg and he was the most recent (only??) one that came up in the search.

I called AJ and he is a lockmaker. Referred me to the AA. Very nice guy and helpful

Anyway car dropped off at 18:00 at Bloem Mitsu, Mark forman of of the workshop took her in. We stayed over at lodge close by. Will call them soon to get updat

He mentioned "burnt" cluches I really hope that's not the case I will post some feedback soon

Mitsu Bloem reckons have to open the gearbox. Decided to go home rather
Getting towed to Centurion Mitspro tomorrow morning. Freek will take her in fix.

Just got home after being towed by Freek 450km. Good man
His Pajero (same as mine manual) did it without fliching.
