    Default Bulembo road

Hi guys . I travel to Swaziland often but via Badplaas and Oshoek . I believe that the trip wil be considerably shorter via Bulembo. But here is the catch : has anybody done that road recently? I understand from the cops in Barbarton that it may just be a killer. I will drive it with a platkar . Your advice much appreciated

Do not try a platkar from the border on wards, 4x4 only. The road is fantastic on the SA side, beautiful scenery but through the border it is another story. The worst was the thick red dust, I can imagine what that be like once it gets wet !!
    That was two years ago.

I drove it on eater weekend. The road to sa border is tar from their to Piggs Peak it's a dirt road that is not as bad as its been in the past years. They are working on it. To save time, you will still need to drive to oshoek, Bulembu is a scenic relaxed drive, if you going to rush it, you will fall of the mountain. It's a narrow tar road along the mountain.

Plat car it's a no go for me.

Forget it in a platcar, the dirt section is too rough

    Hi Eddie,

    Groete,
    Daan
