    EISH long weekend in june theJeep club is going to Moegatle, could get out of that one , sound like a awsum plan , shop closed and we could drive carnage and rock rash ravine, if we make it to the beach,
    GUYS! Dont forget we have to keep Theo and or one of the Guys from up north in mind as they need to accompany us!

    Is 400mm +- enough ground clearance under the belly on a xj? Bussy with my list so I will be prepared

    Thats good Nico but its the diffs that cant clear the rocks. Maybe Richard can post a pic of his tie rod and that is in the middle of the diff.

    Ill look for the pics i took of the diffs and lower shock mounts on the Rubi.

    Dont have a picture of my tie rod unfortunately but the trail can be done on 33's
    Willie did it with Tweety, but its not advisable especially with a longer vehicle.
    You will just struggle more and be slower. Posted are some pics of my old Jeep with diff stuck on the rocks, and Andre's Jeep on 37s and u can see it narrowly missing a rock. And Shanes Diff cover had to be bent back into shape and re-installed and oil topped up again.

    My tie rod has been sleeved and will carry spare tie rod ends.
    Thanks for all the advice. Will prepear as good as I can and will still ask a lot of questions.

    According to those photos, pic 5 and 6 looks bad, I'll battle to get over them, the rest looks like trails we do in the lowveld. Maybe the photo's don't do it justice. Take a "koevoet", pik axe and a few pairs of gloves.

    Please don't shoot me, as I'm trying to work out how I'm going to get Rooikat there

    Hi-lift jack with a jack buddy to lift the wheels worked overtime to get rocks under the wheels.
