Keep an eye on the Western Cape section, there's a few options.

Start with somewhere like 2 Oceans (Helderberg Farms), its very easy in the dry. Then places like Honingklip & Kroonland. Babylonstoren is also mostly easy.

Helderberg (2 Oceans) is good but HoningKlip is a stunning track, lots of play area's and a great place to get to grips with you and your 4X4's (excuse the pun..) abillities.

If you are new to 4x4ing, i would think seriously of joining a group or club tthat can show you the ropes.
Getting into a 4x4 isnt that simple as we have seen many times, even by seasoned manne.
A good place to start would be MelkBos. Its very safe there, and there is always help.
Master the sand trail there, then you are good to go.
The pit section is also nice to practice on.
