Default Tonneau Covers - Which one????

OK... so I have a tonneau cover on my bakkie that has seriously disappointed me.

Correspondence with the manufacturer has indicated that 'Many customers replace after 2 to 3 years and others have lasted 4 to 5 years.'

Mine is around a year and a half old, and looks like it is way beyond the 5 years maximum life. If I had known that '2-3' years was the average lifespan, I would not have spent the R2500-00 (AFAICR) on this product.

I am now looking for something more durable and longer-lasting, considering that I think I followed the 'care' instructions pretty well, and I cannot afford the seemingly high CoO.

What brands are out there as options, and what has been your experience with the products?

I know that you are going to ask me which one I have, but that is not how I roll. It was my mistake for not asking the right questions to begin with before making my decision. If you want to know, I will reply to a PM.

I got one from these guys bit more than a year ago. My lorrie parks outside and only care it had is getting scrubbed with a broom and clean green when the van gets washed and I can see no signs of fatigue. If I remember correctly I paid around R850 including fitment.

Try PREMAT, based in Pretoria (they have branches all over).
    www.premat.co.za

Had two of theirs and both lasted 4 years with no care and in the sun (washed with car soap, now and then scrubbed with a brush).
Both looked a bit dull when the vehicles were sold - new owner "fixed" last one with some DASH and lasted about two more years before it got torn by a "unwanted".

No idea what the current quality is, bought last time beginning 2005 in DBN.
