Default How many Ford Ranger T6 Owners / How many problems

Would love to see how many Ford ranger owners have the new T6 and how many had problems.

Problem is the guys with no problems never say so on forum and the guys that have a lemon can fill
a forum. Lets hope we get a better idea. Mine is here the end of the month and it doesn't matter which
way the voting goes, I can't wait.

I've had two issues. Rust under seats and one of the under rear seat storage compartments covers had a crack.
Cover replaced by Ford under warranty.
Seat frames being replaced by Ford under warranty.

Edit: I should add, I am thoroughly happy with my choice of vehicle, would not change a thing.

I'm as happy as a pig in Palestine apart from the usual "we will void your full warranty if..." crap. But we've covered that already

Why would Ranger owners have an issue with their MAYOR?

    i have the 2.2 4x4 M/T d/c

had a few small issues on mine

    1. sunglasses holder wouldn't close
    2. rev counter kept getting stuck
    3. driver seat keeps slowly lowering itself (still not resolved) - still not properly resolved but better than it was
    4. plastic on side of passenger seat was not fastened in original build - this has broken off again without much strain - hoping ford comes up with a solution
    5. both fuses in 12V power pints blew and had to be replaced - this turned out to be a problem with the revolving light I was plugging. once stopped using that the problem has not returned.
    6. throttle valve control issues - yellow warning light kept coming on - ford replaced part and now seems to be working fine with light staying off and vehicle shutting off properly

however the main things are great. plenty of power and great fun off road esp in the mud

Put it this way, to me a Bakkie must be used for what it is designed for, a hard life.
When my bak at the back gets dirty I get very annoyed and it needs to be washed ASAP, that how much I love this T6 ranger.

    2.2 T6 double cab 4 x 4 April 2012
Minor issue's, like passenger seat belt knocking against seat plastic, (when without passenger)
Squeak from the glove compartment which has gone away over time.
Apart from that, and that's nothing i know, i am veeeeeeeery happy with my ride, make's a long journey short, i love it.

The longer this thread goes on the more we see there are issues but nothing that makes the owners think they made the wrong decision.

Now if we can just get the dealers to come to the party. There are good ones and there are bad ones.

2.2 DC 4x4 - right front headlight shows cracks (dealer promised to replace), a blown fuse (replaced) - software updates not done by original dealer (now sorted thanks to Silver Lakes)

    AWESOME bakkie
