    Default White Waters 4x4 Trail

    Hi,
Has anyone heard from Bushcanic (Carl) in the last while ?
I spoke to him when he was on his way to CT to arrange to use
trail this weekend, but now I have tried contacting him several
    times, without getting an answer.

    Cheers

    Gary

    Hi Castos,

Eventually got sorted. Carl had only just returned from CT with the flu and had to work through the night.
We unfortunately did not get to meet, but a big thank-you to Carl & his wife for accomodating us.

Most of the trail is pretty ok. We did the red route and had to take 2 detours and do a bit of route maintenance along the way .
The 1st real obstacle nearly sunk my bakkie (really need to get the door rubbers looked at). My wifes footwell looked like a dam in seconds.
The mud was so thick, it ws unreal.
After a quickish recovery, the other Hilux tried to go round, but the washout was too deep and we had to use the escape route.
The 2nd escape route was down the 2nd rockface. It looked like the 2 Hilux's wouldn't make the dip at the bottom.
Other than that, not too bad for a morning out.

Need to just repair a nudge bar now . . .

    Added a few pix:
Gary I - drying out at the rest point
Jerry I - approching the 1st river crossing
Jerry II - the last obstacle of the day

    Cheers

    Gary
