Default Next Generation MB C Class

Being built in East London, starting in 2014... MB is investing R 2.5billion into the project in East London.

Also, it will apparently be built on an all new platform which allows for 4wd versions in L and RHD models. Hopefully that will allow us to see the GLK as well, which is based on the C class platform. It could never be launched here as the current platform did not allow for RHD 4wd systems..

Default Next Generation MB C Class

    Looks nice.
Hope it is no bigger than the current model, which is (a lot) bigger than the 350 S of the 1980's...

Manny, won't be surprised if it's bigger. The new A class is much bigger than it's predecessor already, which will leave the gap between the A and C very small..
BTW, the new A was voted the "Most beautifull car of 2012" by voters from 52 countries, so it seems like MB is upping it's game a bit too..

New A class to be launched here next month I think:

Went to the launch over the weekend.. What a car!

I'm very impressed with the finishing and feel of it. Definitely a whole new car! It looks a lot better in real life than on pictures.

Nee man, dit gaan mos nie in Namibie werk nie...

Its 41+7 (reserve). At an ave of about 4.5ltr / 100km extra urban cycle for these models (the C220 = 3.5ltr/100km), it gives you about 1000km per tank.

Go drive it though. You wont mind the smaller tank
    The interior is simply immaculate.

Ja I'm looking at replacing the Jetta in two years or so with one of these...

How accurate are those consumption figures though?

And like I say, I'd rather have the 66liter tank and do 1500km on a tank
