Sorry guys!! What with work and organising BushFire's Birthday Bash, I haven't given it much more time. I'll post a thread and see if there's interest. Not sure I would even be able to make it now?

Mr GH please give final detail on the happenings of the trip, need to do the final planning. Who will be going and what is the final costs, do we need to pay upfront or pay on arrival. Do we have any idee of what is happening with the campers, are they staying over for the whole weekend or running home to mommie on Sunday afternoon. Hope your BIG brother 4x4 can make the small hill because the SVM will most surtainly give it a go

Picked up the Land Cruiser today. See you this weekend.
Variety is the spice of life!
Some of the guys have chicken'ed out but about 8 4x4's are coming thru with more joining the saturday..... those faders will be shot at the next gathering.

It might be better that way, too many vehicles are going to be a mission and take a long time.
When are you guys planning to do Winch hill? I would suggest doing it at the end of the trail that the guys can drop tire pressures specifically for that. Or perhaps for Friday you can do Winch hill and Horseshoe seeing as you will only have a couple of hours left of the day.

Yes I want to be there to see the Winch Hill attempts specifically. Which day?![]()
Variety is the spice of life!
It's the D/C Diesel 4.2. It's the only one they've got.
I'll also have the ML 63 AMG, but no way I'm taking that on the trail.![]()

Jean, we have to start the trail at around 9.30am at the latest if we are going to finish on the same day. GH I see some guys are comming through on Saturday, must we plan the route around them arriving late or what do you want to do. We have a few days but Wally and I need to do some forward planning. Are you wanting to do the "uncharted" river section ?
Jean I think we will aim to do it in the morning some time - knowing the guys to tell you for sure we will get on the way at 09h38 would be difficult - give me a shout on 072562sevensevenzero3 - on friday and will probably give you a better idea.
The guys will be on holiday so we will do it some time the saturday![]()
