We are 6 guys going on a camping trip through Botswana to the Caprivi and back for 15 days, now, I've heard less is more, but what do we need?

PS, swambo's are gigling in the back ground. . .

That should do it - keep it as light as possible.

Hehe... When Mike broke the leaf spring on his HiLux in Zambia in October, we did a bush repair that involved wire, a chain, some tie down straps, a block of wood - and lashings of duct tape. Worked a charm.

Bee Tee, they are not taking swambo's with so they do not need to be too elaborate regarding the washing process

Tyre repair kit and pump and an extra spare wheel is always high on my list. The saying goes if you got it you wii not need it but if you do not have it you have a greased finger.

Silicon tape.

Perhaps not a second spare wheel and tyre but just a tyre. Excess weight is your enemy when overlanding.

We once fixed a cutted rubber boot
with duct tape and cling wrap,
lasted from Kgalagadi to CT.

But as there are no swambos going on th trip,
clingwrap might be needless?
