    Default Trailer stoep

I made a "stoep" for my trailer this morning. Could not buy the one in the shop ( too much money) It cost in total R380. I am looking at expanding it to the other side also. Any advice on this or is there some thing that might bite me on the next camping trip?

Looking nice. I have been contemplating doing something similar for my Echo-rooftop tent. One extension over the ladder entrance and one to the side over the tail-gate of the Forester. Saw some pretty damn nice rubber-impregnated rip-stop polyester at Metro for R60/m (1.8m wide). Now I just need to convince Swambo to do the stitching.

The stiching is the part where your language skills extend, bacuase of the size of the thing and it gets stuck every now and then.
I am going to give mine a "slinger" to wind it up more easily.

Now that's a mighty fine idea. Shade is always going to be an issue around the trailer & this solves the problem of trying keep the gazebo close to the trailer.
