    Dungbeetle, sorry if I was out of line. The WK Jeep Grand Cherokee was produced from 2005 to 2010 and replaced the previous WJ Grand Cherokee.

    They do not. They have a VM Motori A630. VM Motori diesel powerplants have a a particularly hideous reputation after the XJ's 2.5 and the WJ's 3.1, and even the 2.8 in the KJ/JK doesn't seem all that well loved. Reputation is a funny thing, I'm not sure I'd buy a diesel WK2 if it were an option at some point.

    The new engine seems very reliable.

    BMWs are awesome cruisers, but so are most soft roaders.

    Our two Jeeps. The original WK(blue) and the WK2 Overland Summit. Both mainly used for towing our 2000kg all over the UK, France and Spain.
