To make sure it is not another DVR type issue here, get an inspection camera. Something you can stick down through that injector hole. Just so you can see if there is scarring on the bore, or even a melted piston.
If you can, pull the sump and make sure there is no sludge.
That is an expensive motor, so if it was me, I would pull the head and the sump. Make sure all the injectors are good.
You never know what the previous clowns used for diesel or oil.
