    Talking some LEDs added.

Must say, i am not to happy with the "white" LEDs park lights in the OffRoad bumper.
    But the rest... Wow!

And plus point is.... With the setup of 4x park ligts, the T6 computer doesnt pick up the low power.

O and the Question was asked if the interior lights fades.... Yes they do :-)
But be carefull, the rear one.... The cover breaks so easy.

    Whats next.... Well....

Looks good, which W5W bulbs did you fit?

I installed in my cabin but the light was weaker then the std so I put the originals back in.

The front ones look a little bluish now and a little stressed cops gonna give me a bit of grief sometime, looks good though

    Default Spotlight question

Hi Guys, I was on this thread looking for inspiration and I see many of you have spot lights fitted.
I contacted the dealer where I bought my truck regarding fitment of the fog lights in the bumper, my model didn't come with them. I also asked about the installation of spotlights on my nudgebar at the same time. I was told that I cannot install spotlights as any cutting into the wiring of the T6 will blow the vehicle computer.
Has anybody else found this to be true? Is this just the dealer covering themselves?

I would appreciate any comments or advice on how and where I can fit spots (I am based on the east rand but will travel right through Gauteng for a quality job)

    Thank you.

If I was fitting them i would not cut into the wiring.

Mount the spots and supply them from a relay directly from the batery. Switch the relay on and off from a seperate switch mounted inside the cab. That way you do not change anything from the original wiring and once you remove them the bakkie is back to standard.

Just put the 15 Amp fuse inbetween the relay and the battery as close as possible to the batery and a small 2 amp fuse from the batery to the switch that goes back to the relay aux pin and ensure your wires that you uses are thick enough to carry more than 15Amp (+4mm wires should be fine) for the light supply and the switch wires about 3 or more amps. (+1mm)

Thtats a load of rubish.... How many vehicles have blown up or damaged computers from spot
    Lights.....
All my spots, run from battery ro relay and a swich inside the cab, and they made a neat pin that plugs in somewhere on the high beam to activate it, no cutting wires!
BUT! i have a issue road rage spots, they keep on blowing bulbs, and when this happens, my cars heam beams shuts off for a few secs..... But then they work fine again.

Vehicle going in tomorrow to check this out.
Still think its the spots ligths, as they dont even preform as promised.
Going to replace them with 4 Hella Luminators.

Thats what i was thinking. you see spots on Rangers (and all other vehicles) all over the place. But, having said that I have since spoken to Safari Center in Meadowdale, great service, very helpful. I am going to see them next week and they are going to help me with fog and spot lights.

    Default Dust in the loadbin

Can anyone help with the problem of dust in the loadbin of the new Ranger?
I see that there is a gap between the cab & the bin.
    Can it be sealed?

I just had the African Outback dust proofing kit installed:

Installation done by OL Broadacres (thanks Gavin!).

I'll be testing it out next weekend.
