    Thanks guys.

Not keeping it though. My impression? Its terrible. Not enough power - only 295kw. Not capable enough offroad either.

    Only joking of course

But it is true that im not keeping it, as much as I wish I could.

New owner will be undressing her on Monday...

Inspected my doors and horror of horrors there was what appeared to be significant rust at the bottom of the doors. On further inspection there seems to be a plate spot welded on top of the door frame. This was the item that was rusted... but it had started to also rust on the frame. I cut out the plate, etched the rust, welded a new plate in and primer, paint and tectyl. Then duct taped and repaired the plastic in the doors. Greased the springs in the mirrors and the door stop arm and re fitted. Adjusted the locks and very happy with the closing if the doors

04:00 in the morning. Woke up due to smell. Got outside and it was burning on left-hand side inside engine bay. Couldn't get bonnet open, it had already twisted too much. Tried extinguishing with powder extinguisher, no use.

I suspect rats/mice chewed the wires and caused a short. Can't think of anything else.
