    I recon Saturday comms will be ORRA VHF. Where can I get a mobile unit fitted before Friday? In the Western Cape that is....

    I don't have a VHF radio, only 29Mhz.

    I think 29MHz is slowly dying out. I've given away my Navstar mobile unit and haven't used the handheld for at least two years. Didn't bring it with....

    Jean that isn't a problem. On all the forum outings I've been on we use 29mhz so I am sure there will be a group on 29 and a group on vhf and some with both.

    I cant wait for the day to toss the 29MHZ and just keep the VHF. Having two radios is confusing sometimes.

    7.30am for me at the Wimpy,At the Netcare center, where Neil had his foot repaired, then straight to the dunes. The best time is as early as possible.It magic at that time.

    I cant remember the name, Netcare hospital Blaawberg or Sunningdale.
    There is a pick n Pay and a woolies there, the last big stop before AD.
