I was there a year ago. Awesome camp site, with a nice dam.

We didn't do the 4x4 trail, but they have quad rides that takes you deep into a valley. Very nice scenery.

Don't know Baviaans that well to tell you where abouts it is. All I know it's almost on the other side when you enter from Patensie's side

Stayed there a month or two back. Very nice camp site with plenty of trees. The site is kept spotless and they even come and pick up the thorns on the ground. People are very friendly and even come say good night to you when you go sleep. The dam was blady cold though. The lady there makes homemade smoked cheese saugages. Do yourself a faver and get some if she have. They are awsome. She normaly only makes it on order, but we got some from another poor okes stock

Anyone from CT going there let me know, I want to place an order.

Have a look on this map: http://www.baviaans.co.za/index2.htm
(Edit: Click on "map" in the list on the left and click on the
map itself to load a detailed map of the routes through and around the Baviaans Kloof. Click on that map in turn to see accommodation.)
It appears to be between Damsedrif and Zandvlakte. Unfortunately the link to their page doesn't seem to be working.
(Edit again: The link on the map isn't working, but click on "Where to stay" on the left on the homepage, on "Baviaans" at the top of the subsequent page, and scroll down. That link is working. Looks promising... )

I was at Doringkloof a bit more than a year ago. Like Morne said, the campsite is spotless, really nice. They have several 4x4 trails, one that goes up the mountain to the north and you can see Steytlerville from there. Then there is another trail that goes right accross the mountains to Kareedouw. I can recommend both trails, the second is especially spectacular!

Doringkloof is to the west of the Reserve area, probably the first camping place after you exit the reserve.
