ORB - if you do half of what we did and saw you will be happy with the trip. Pierre is onto something really good here. Hopefully support will be there to make sure he can continue with this and grow it. I am going again!

Pity missed the last bit - next time!

To everybody that went along thanks for input and advise. A couple of things that became clear is the following:

    1) I thought the whole trail is grade 2-3 but it was pointed out that some parts is actually grade 4.

2)If it rains some parts can get very slippery.

    3) While 'wet' black wattle may be good to heat up the donkey, it doesn't work so 'lekker' for the braai!

4)I need to put up a roof by the braai place at malolotja campsite in case it rains.(We were lucky to have the rains cleared up by the time we started.)

5)I need to slash open the trail a little wider in the forest section as i forgot not all carrs is as small as my cherokee that i used as my measuring stick.

6)We will only run un-catered trips. Due to the remoteness of our campsites it will be too difficult to have to string along so much supplies. So everybody will look after themself in the food department.

We will make a few tweaks and run our first 'commercial trip' the weekend of 16 December. And we have 1 confirmed booking so far.

Once we have done a few of these trips and everything runs smooth we will cut the second part to be able to make it a 5 day tour as well.

Hi Simon, when we do the extended trail we plan to end up at Mlawula close to Siteki. I will definitely contact you when we get to that stage as this sound like a proposition. Thanks
