Images for Road Nairobi to Ethiopia needed

Anyone have an pictures or links of the state of this road. Busy planning a trip from Johannesburg to UK in a historical Hillman Imp in March 2013.

We went via Turkana so I have no direct experience (though I can tell you not to try the Turkana road in a Hillman Imp).

Have you checked out youtube? I just searched "moyale road" and there was quite a bit of video footage.

I did this trip September 2011... That road is in terrible shape especially from marsabit to moyale. ....but doable if you take it slow...

We had a prado and it blew one shock ...but was still able to proceed and only noticed when we got to Nairobi.

I did see Chinese contractors on the ground clearing and making the road...hopefully they have made good progress
