Cost of driving into Lubumbashi?

Hi Guys,

Anyone know what it costs these days to drive your vehicle into DRC from Zambia? (tolls, etc, etc, etc)?

I called the DRC embassy in Lusaka - They actually told me that they don't know and I would have to "make a plan" at the border with officials, etc.

Hi Oliver,

We drove through Kasumbalesa border post from Lubumbashi on the way to Ndola last year, have no recollection of fees etc, but remember that it took veeeeery long and that Kasumbalesa is probably one of the worst border posts I have had the misfortune of crossing... patience patience and more patience, and hold tight to your valuables etc. Otherwise trip was not too eventful, traffic cops/army generally very friendly, just don't pull a 'houding'
