    Default Night Drive-Heidelberg4x4

    Its on....
    Saturday 29th Sept at Heidelberg4x4

    http://www.heidelberg4x4resort.co.za...s/H4X4-MAP.jpg

    Cost is R225.oo per vehicle.
    Payable when entering.

Breakdown of the price is R200 to Heidelberg4x4,the balance of R25 is for markers, tape(to mark the safe night drive trail portion),high visibility vests for the marshalls etc
    Fair, I think.
The volunteer marshalls still have to pay for their own fuel, food etc

With that you get all day saturday to drive the trail, then a night drive on the chosen/marked trail at 18.30 hrs.

Camping included for the sat night.

Then drive again on sunday on the full trail!!!!!!

We have a few prizes for-
    Brightest lights
    Most stuck driver
Longest mud drive(there is a dam)
    More-TBA...

There are a few flushing toilets,no showers,no electricity, there is fresh water
Plenty of wood to be collected for a braai/fire,bring your own braai but no fires on the ground,be sensible...

    Plenty of camping space.

    NO DRINK DRIVING!
That goes for passengers as well.

A portion of the trail will be closed off from saturday lunch time to enable us to mark the night trail.

There will be more info posted.

    Please put your name down.

    Numbers will be limited......

Maybe more comfortable, but I'm trying to organise a 'Nurses Station' for any 'medical probs'
Sakkie-Could do with a hand setting up a 'Around the dam mud track',as well as marking the trail for the night drive
The owner(Graham),has given us a freehand in doing some extreme obstacles
    ,not for the night drive
We just need to be 'safe and sensible'

Rob, put my name down as a Marshall!

It seems like a fun weekend, also it seems I will get to meet Sakkie at long last!

I would have liked to join, but my wife won't like the offroad track shaking while pregnant. Next year I will definitely join.

Ek het so twee weke gelede 'n interresante ondervinding gehad by Heidelberg 4x4.
