Had a feeling you wouldn't resist it
Theres a small playground at Heidelberg4x4 as well as a Fi-Fi slide for the monkeys
    Or have you been before?

Never been there before, so it will be a new experiance for us, also the night driving will be a first.

It's a very underrated trail,I think guys get put off as they have to drive to Heidelberg, but most Jhb guys drive an hour to get to the 'popular' trails eg De Wildt anyway.
You will enjoy it,it's pretty technical.

Its also deceiving-I've been there probably 6 times and I keep on finding new routes...

We will be taking the easier safer routes for the night drive,we should get some decent night scenery as its relatively higher than the surrounding countryside.

I actually met Sakkie there last year at the ATKV Klipspinnekop get together without knowing who he is. Heidelberg is really a great place, easy and difficult. Can't wait for the end of the month

So what is the Agenda for the Nightdrive so far?

    Saturday
    Pitch up during the day
    Setup Camp
    Go looking to get Stuck
    Have Lunch
Trail closed to setup for NightDrive.
    Dinner?
17:00pm Competition -THE MAD MUD RUN!
18:30pm Night Drive - Half of the group Marshalls while the others drive and then swap around?

    Sunday
    Go get stuck again
    Go home

Uncle Rob please fix where necessary?
    Chris

Pretty much right Crips, but we're not closing the whole trail, just the part we want to do on the night drive-for our drivers.
Plus Graham has a training session on and we cant keep him off his own trail
If we do a relay system on the night drive-get to the first Marshall,he then leads to the next Marshall who carries on to the next, etc
That way the Marshalls also drive the trail.
The Marshalls will 'supervise' and watch for anything dangerous during the whole weekend.

We need to check the Mad Mud Run out during saturday, but try not to give too much away as far as what the best lines are etc

Please no dodgy recoveries in the mud(or elsewhere)
I will step in and stop if I see idjits using towballs for eg
Take recovery gear-if you haven't got,I've got plenty, but if anything breaks...you are responsible.
    There will be winches.

Graham has asked me to take the money,I'll give it to him when he's finished his training. There will be receipts, plus a disclaimer to sign.
Please look for me as I don't want to go searching for tight bottoms
If you have the correct amount it would help(R225),but I do accept tips.....

If you have a radio, please bring?

    I've got a few prizes-Maglights,Laptop bags,memory sticks etc
So there will be a few fun competitions...TBA

Dinner wise I would suggest eating properly when we get back from the night drive as we can leave straight from the Mad Mud Run for the night drive.Have a snack beforehand.
I'll organise somebody to light a big braai before we return so we can help ourselves to coals.

NO DOPPING IF YOU'RE GOING TO DRIVE!

If there are any inexperienced drivers,PM me and I'll make sure you're driving with a old hand.
We've still got time to think of stuff?
Suggestions more than welcome, especially small, fun competitions?
    We want to have fun-safely.

How long more or less for the night drive? Just need to check when to feed the monkeys, before or after.

Also gonna try to get there early.
