Default Zambia, Tanzania & Mocambique Trip

I attach my reports for the Tanzania leg of our trip.
Not sure whether this is a duplication as I attempted to post yesterday, but cannot find the post.

Im not PCT but it will take half a day to a day,
depending if the road works are finished now.

It took us 7 hours for the 330 km from Kilwa to Dar in 2011,
but there were not many kms of roadworks left.

    Default Thanks

Your reports have quietened a few nagging voices / apprehensions about our trip up to Tanzania next year. It will be our first trip past Beira and I cannot wait. Thanks very much.

    Thanks for your great report.
The Baboons at the Ruaha have the one big tree at the Campsite as a sleeping tree.
The Italians are notorious for camping underneath, although it smells.

We had the same with a group of italians in 2011. Luckily only 6 of them so it gave us some pleasure to watch, when there was nothing to see at the river. The Baboons came during they were on Game Drive and went through the stuff they had left, shoes, food, clothes.

At night a hyena did steal them the ammobox with their dry food in.
they found the open box at the river bank next morning.
