    Default WJ Blend Doors/Heater Codes

    Hello,

So last night I randomly stumbled across a YouTube video describing a no heat situation with the internal heater. I have a similar problem in that my heater only seems to heat on high and even then not very well.

The video seems to suggests that this is a common problem with the Jeep GC as the plastic hinges on the blend doors break. The video also shows a trick whereby you hold in the A/C and recirculation buttons and using the LEFT temperature control knob you can access some type of code...

Does anybody know what the numbers represent/have a definition? Mine cycle from 53 through 56 - at first I thought it was the heat output in Fahrenheit however I am not so sure as the video suggest that they are error codes

    Cheers

    David

    Hello All,

Quick update for everybody, I sent an email to the States this morning asking for a total price on:
Jeep Badges: $9.95 (two Jeep badges)
    Blender Flaps: $150
    Door panel clips: $9.95

If I get no response or one that I don like (in terms of postage cost) I am going to get a premium subscription on myus.com and take it from there....

I will let you know when I get a response.

I ordered door panels clips from jgcparts.com today. Paid for them. They are already shipped and on their way. I am sure one of use can order 5 or 10 sets of the door blenders and bring them in with one shipment. JGCPARTS offer free shipping world wide.

i want to see what happens with the small parts before moving onto the larger parts ... value I mean

I got a reply to say my goods have been shipped. Shipped the same day I paid for them. I'm impressed so far.
