Good Morning all you Loverly BL owners.

I am serching for a table wall mount Bracket for a Mod that I will be doing and will most certainly share with you all.

I have searched the Internet and have found this aluminium wall mount Bracket manufactured in AUS and the USA.

If anyone may know of anyone in SA that 1. Has this in stock, or can start making it.

I had a camping couple that was in SA camping and he had this on his Van, this attached his table and his wash up area using this extrusion.

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

    Hallo almal

Dus, indien enige persoon belangstel prys is R8000K. kontak my [email protected] dan gesels ons verder.

This is not a Bush Lapa specific mod but something I thoroughly enjoyed building.

We always have a mercury type thermometer in the caravan which also shows the minimum and maximum temperature. I love seeing how hot/cold it is and was. Well now we're replacing it with an electronic unit in the caravan which shows inside temperature, minimum, maximum and humidity, as well as the same for a mobile external unit (communication is wireless). For now I mounted it above the door as the DB doesn't have space but I may move it if I find a better spot. Attached are some photos (excuse the quality - bad lighting).

Both the inside and remote unit has a DHT22 sensor which measures temperature and humidity.

Which model of Nespresso machine are you using? Where do you keep it? Only used when plugged into shore power or can your inverter run it?

    Sounds like a great idea!

I suppose horses for courses, but I sold my Nespresso machine. Didn't like the watery flavor of the coffee. Now use the Dolce Gusto machine which has more "everyday" normal drinking coffees. Caramel Macchiato and Cappuccino rules!

Did anyone fit the Al-ko fold down legs to a Gogga yet or are they mostly used on the bigger models? Need to decide between 2 x Alko's or the additional support foot on the A-frame. I suppose the Al-ko's would provide the best stability though.

I would go for the AL-Ko's, have them on the Baobab and they are great and easy to use.

I got the cheapest Nespresso, it was the R999 special a while ago. It runs off my 1200 va inverter. I transport it in my car rather as my original one did not like being bounced around on rough roads. Nespresso repaired it for free when I ordered pods.

The trick with Nespresso machines is to buy the correct pods for either espresso or Lungo coffees. This makes a big difference to watery or non-watery coffee.

I also keep some grounds for plunger coffee just in case.

I couldn't make a decision between the extra leg on the A-frame and the Al-ko's, but I've now decided on the latter. I don't think it adds much more effort (had 4 of them on my Xplorer and were quick to set), but a key thing Martin mentioned is they prevent the van from tilting slightly to the left when the fridge drawer is extended. Also think it's quite logical that the feet towards the side will add much more stability than the A-frame foot fairly in the front middle, 300mm away from the jockey wheel.

Julle manne gaan fyn.... My Moka pot can take the rough roads and I grind my beans just before making the coffee...either electric grinder or a manual one I connect to a cordless drill... if I'm lazy... We also use a milk frother and warm the milk before the time. It's a bit more work but it feels like therapy making it and smelling the freshly ground coffee beans...

Sounds like you are styling! Have to admit to being a bit of a coffee snob

Ive always used those Italian cafetiere jobs that you fill with water and ground coffee and that then forces the coffee through a spout at the top. It makes awesome coffee and I enjoy the process. Having a Nespresso or similar in the hush is kinda indulgent out of Africa stuff which appeals to me.

Gonna have to use when connected to AC though. It needs 1200 watts! I will have a 500w inverter so not going to cut it

George are you talking about the ones as supplied with the Ratels or the ones which is permanent fixed and folds down? I had the latter on my gogga and took it off as it was, for me, more of a nuisance than doing what it was supposed to do. I replaced it with the 1 stabilizer on the A-frame.
I am of the opinion that the L-shaped stabilizers as used with the Ratels is a better fit for purpose but will most probably need some mods not to be in the way of some sort.

Hierdie outjies.
