Trails in Gauteng area for the biginner

    Default Trails in Gauteng area for the biginner

    Can anyone assit with trails that can be done in the Gauteng area for guys who have not done any serious offroading before, or direct me to a thread on this subject?

    Any help will be appreciated.

    Adam,

    A good one to play and get used to 4x4 is the De Wildt. Once you confident with that one, Hennops should be next on your list.

    I would go on a course though, to learn what your colt can do. Will boost your confidence and wont hurt your car.

    Bass lake is also an easy ride (1 or 2 difficult places)

    Groenkloof Nature reserve in Pretoria has a great beginner trail and Bass Lake is REALLY nice (very few rocks, most of the obstacles are on hardpack dirt)

    Hallo Adam

    Jy het jou Colt by my gekoop Jul 2005. Ek was laas week aangenaam verras toe ek die fotos van jou spelery in die sneeu op Sani Pas gesien het. Ek is eintlik baie spyt dat ek die bakkie aan jou verkoop het maar byegones. Wel ek het weer 'n Colt gekoop want ek was baie tevrede met joune. Ek was so twee maande terug by Hennops voor die reen en het al die obstacles baas geraak, bygesÍ met bietjie moeite...effe verroes. Daar is 'n heerlike braaiplek halfpad so sit 'n dag opsy en beplan vir 'n piekniek/braai. As jy wil saam ry laat weet my dan kyk ons of ons 'n datum kan reel.
