    Exclamation Nissan 1400 conversion advice needed

    Hi there,

    I have a Suzuki SJ410 which has picked up some problems with it's engine...

    I want to find out from other's experiences what the benefits are of doing a 1400 conversion. Is it really worth the trouble and the money??

    What is the price range and where is a good place to start.

    I would really appreciate some advice as I am out of options.

    Hallo welkom,

    Ek het my sj410 gekoop met n ingevoerde nissan 15oo, het n vriend met die 1400. goeie opsie. paar goed waarna jy moet kyk is die rat verhoudings van die transferkas en die diff. jy kyk so na 3500 rpm teen 100km/h met brandstof va 7-8 km per l op n 5 spoedratkas met bande soos volg 15 duim 245 x 75

    Ek het my 1500 uitgehaal om twee redes dit was stukend buite regmaak, en die ratkas se 2 en 4de ratte was gestrip. 2des die karb het veroorsaak dat teen styl opdraande stol die kar en sukkel om te start. hulle se daar is n manier daar rondom.

    Die parte is redelik goedkoop en kon daardie tyd n goeie dins doen onder R800, by gesy dis 3 jaar terug.

    Ek het huidig n 1800 diesel in (geen turbo) met n cressida 5 spoed ratkas, die brandstof verbruik is so 9km/l weereens teen die hoe rpm, maar vir 4x4 is dit uitstekend. EK is baie gelukig

    Ek glo die 1 punt waarna enige iemand moet kyk voor hulle net n ander engin in sit is wat is die DOEL : lang pad, of 4x4 op roetes waar jy nie vinnager as 80km gaan ry nie.

    jy moet net eending besef en ek glo ander sal ook so se is dat die sj410 en ek dink self die sj413 is nie die beste voertuig vir langafstande nie, om hul te sleep bly die beste opsie so spoed moet nie jou eerste keuse wees vir engine verandering nie. praat uit onderving het voor die diesel n 16oo 20velve black top 4age in gehaat, 140km/h op die snelweg is baie lekker. maar enige iemand met pad kennis sal vir jou se dit is om moord tepleeg die kar is nie daarvoor gebou nie. baie lekker engine die 4age duur om die verandering te doen maar teen 120 kw in n 800kg 4x4 is daar geen roete wat jou kan keer nie net jou eie vermoe!

    Ek hoop dat dit jou help met jou keuse.

    As my feite verkeurd moenie skaam voel my terreg testel nie.
    Sj 410. 1800 diesel. 30.9 bf mud. h/made alu cab. Mikem 40mm springs with greasable shackels and Bilstein shocks
