    Post Electrickery

    Hi guys
I took out my window lift ECU from my Disco 1 SE and managed to break it in half. I soldered it together again but now my windows work without the ignition being turned on. Now my battery is taking strain and I think the ECU is the culprit.
The usual Landy dealers does not have the ECU secondhand and Im thinking of installing a cutoff switch for the battery. Does anyone have some advice for me as to what my options is?

sounds like it your repair something got soldered and created a short cause it to continue using power. if you can't find a unit i second your idea of finding a descreet place for a switch and leave it as is.
