    Hi PeterV

We camped at Mabibi in June. Sites were well kept, ablutions clean with hot water. It is a bush camp so no electricity and take drinking water along as well. The beach with the reef for snorkeling is beautiful and at times you'll have it all to yourselves although the stairs going down are quite a walk so try and take everything that you'll need down. A drive to Lake Sibaya is a must. We drove the coastal forest reserve road up to Kosi Bay and stopped at Rocktail Beach Camp on the way. Really nice cabins with all creature comforts. In Kosi Bay we stayed at the Kzn parks campsite on 3rd lake which was also really nice. Checkout http://4x4community.co.za/forum/showthread.php?t=118564

    Thanks for the advice!

So, both Mabibi Camp and Rocktail Beach Camp turned out to be fully booked. So we will be camping at Kosi Bay Lodge. Looking forward to it

You could try Utswayelo lodge (www.kosimouth.co.za) it's right at the entrance gate to kosi mouth. They organise permits to go to the mouth for you and their camping sites are very nice. Every site is enclosed under big trees with a drinking water tap, there is power from 6 - 10pm. You have to go and snorkel in the mouth, it's fantastic.
