    Default All Terrain's for a Toyota RAV4

    Hi Guys,

I have been scouring this forum in search of data or anyone with knowledge on All Terrain's for a RAV4 (2007 onward model), 4 door.

All the RAV4's from 2007 onwards (and before) are all mainly running 17" rims so obviously would need a 17" tyre. My questions I have are as follows:

    - Is one able to put decent all terrains on a RAV4 without the tyres touching the body?
    - What is the max side wall height one can run if the above is true?
    - What width of tyre can one run?
    - What makes would be best suited to this vehicle?

    I really appreciate the input!

    Thanks!

    I've seen 225-70-R17 ATs (vs 225-65-R17 std) on a Rav4.

As far as I remember it was Yokohama ATs.

Unfortunately I did not have opportunity to speak to the owner regarding any issues ie rubbing and performance loss.
