Default Tyre wear ML 350 diesel

I had to replace the rear tyres on my 2010 ML 350 diesel after only 22000 km's. I tow a Jurgens Penta (two trips of about 2000 km's) The rest equally town and freeway driving.I had the alignment checked and set again when the new tyres were fitted.Tyres are Bridgestone 235/65 on 17 inch rims.
The front tyres still look "fine".
This is surely irregular - anyone with a similar complaint.

That doesn't sound right, I fitted Kumho X3's to my ML500, that was 60 000KM ago and they will probably do another 10 000KM.

Your vehicle has permanent 4WD so the tires should all wear at the same rate, they do on mine.

I had an ML270CDI W163 and the OEM Dunlops only lasted 35k kms. I switched to Michelin Tour HPs and got 60k km.

Tires wore evenly but I rotated often +/-8k km. Perhaps the Bridgestones are soft?
