Default South African Camping sites on Google Earth

I have taken all the camp sites registered on http://www.campsa.co.za/ by region and created Google Earth KMZ files. So far I have completed Western Cape, Northern Cape and Eastern Cape.

Edit - Oscar has kindly supplied all of them so I have removed mine

Very nifty to have - thanks!!

Not sure if you know - but there is a T4A layer you can turn on in google earth which may help you quite a lot! It is found under the Gallery layer drop down and then you can choose to view the accomodation layer

    Morph . . . Morph . . You should have asked!

Here is the full list of everything we got. Of the 2100 odd campsites that's listed more then 1600 comes with GPS coordinates.
Note that CampSA have an agreement with Tracks4Africa for the use of a lot of these coordinates, so we must thank them.
The list here has all the names plus phone numbers but I like your list with the URL to the website. Will work on one and add it here.

If you own a TomTom GPS device, you can now download the CampSA Points of Interest (POI) with all the campsites to you TomTom device.
To do this, link up your TomTom to your PC and to TomTom Home. Click on “Add traffic, Voices, Safety Cameras, etc” and then click on “Point of Interest”. Search for “CampSA” and the press “Add”

Edit: OK, I see I can't upload a file more then 100K. Find it at Dropbox

    Try this one: CampSA

This is an interactive Google Map of all the camp sites and can be saved as a favourite in your browser.

You should be able to open it from your browser. (http://batchgeo.com/map/753cb32ecdf3...844a511a2cf5be)

Here is an Apple App (BatchGeo). Not sure if this will open the map and if it is only there if you would like to create maps. Maybe you should try and tell me. (I'm not on Ipad)

Wow, thanks Oscar. The batchgeo link is a saving grace.

For the past 2 days I have been looking for a nice place to go camping weekend of 9-12 Aug. So tonight I thought I'd browse the camping section, and if I don't find something, I will start a new thread and ask for recommendations.

Now I might just have all the info to make in informed decision...

Thanks to Morph for the initiative.
