Spitzkoppe, Messum Crater to Palmwag reality check

Hi folk,
I am new to this forum and will appreciate some advice. Has anyone driven this route? How long did it take:
1. Spitzkoppe to Messum Crater?
2. Messum Crater to Palmwag?
3. Any suggested roads? We probably wont be going via Divorce Pass.
No trailers, not much experience, plenty common sense

T4 maps say 209km and 8hrs.

Usually pretty accurate.

Just make 100% sure you have the right tyres. Those stones will cut mortal tyres to shreds.

Those roads are really not that bad. Usually you can maintain about 60km/h.

Spitzkoppe to Messum, 1 day.

Messum to Palmwag , 5 to 6 hours.

Unless you make a race of it.

Which is more beautiful; Doros 4x4 trail or desolation valley 4x4 trail.
Which sucks more; the steep challenge of divorce pass or the sharp rocks of the desolation valley trail.
Appreciate any advice
