I see a lot of 4x4 goodies at what seems to be reasonable prices on the 4x4direct.co.za website. Has anyone dealt with them before ? and are they safe to buy from, all orders must be paid upfront.

You can trust 4x4Direct. I saw Pieter aka Piet Petoors just this past Teusday when I picked up my new Mikem extended shackles. I have done numerous purchases from him, but with me staying less than 20km away from Langebaan where they are situated I go and collect, which is not always a good idea because I leave with more than what I wanted in the first place!

Parcel was posted on Friday and I collected it at the Post Office this afternoon.

Very impressed with the quality and quantity of the kit, not even comparable the one I got at the Map & trail clearance sale.

I bought A few items from them a last week Tuesday, I requested ordinary post Friday I collected my parcel at the post office, took it home and like a kid ripped open all the packages. one of the items I bought was a 5m roll of strip lights in Warm white when I tested them I noticed it was not warm but the cool white, I emailed 4x4direct Monday morning (yesterday) to let them know I received the wrong item. about 5 minutes ago a parcel was dropped off with the new strip lights, and UTI will only collect the incorrect strip once I have confirmed I have got the delivery.

They were also very sorry for the mis understanding even when I acknowledged its was a mistake.

I will defiantly use them again and again

I likewise prefer the warm white LED lights. I bought a roll of the 3mm as well as a roll of the 5mm W/W lights and the light output has to be seen to be believed!! Excellent product!
