    Default Accommodation Near Kruger

Hi All, Swambo and myself is thinking of going to the kruger for a quick two day this weekend. I am looking for relative cheap (yeah I know is a long weekend and cheap I not an option now) accommodation at a little place.

The idea is to drive in at the
Malelane Gate on Friday and drive around for the day, drive out and sleep over somewhere at a Guest house or cheapish Hotel.

Take a drive back into the Kruger on Saturday and explore some more up north and go out by some gate and spend another night somewhere.I would like to know if someone could perhaps possible advice of which gates to go out by and what nice little places we could stay at. Self-catering if possible. We did not really plan to go away, but the itch just bit me and I want to make sure it fits in with our budget for the month. Assistance will be appreciated.

We stayed at Almar View cottages close to Nelspruit when we went up there during the past school holidays. Don't know if that will be too far from Malelane for you.

Shout is you want more info.

    Hi Bryan

I may not be too much help as I stay too close by to sleep over in this area but I will advise the following, do a google search of self catering places in Malelane as there are lots of B&B'S and lodges etc... for all budgets. Concerning the gate to exit on the Saturday I would recommend PHABENI gate as it is close to Hazyview and there again there are many places in that area or push on to Sabie and stay there ( THE WOODSMAN in Sabie I would recommend )

As this is a tourist area google is your friend.

    Hope this helps a bit.
