    Hi Guys ,

    I have a Jeep Cherokee Laredo 2002 , with 140k km's.

It is in mint condition and i would like to sell it and get a newer 4x4.

How much should i expect to get for it?

    Thanks

Which engine? Unfortunately not much, probably in the region of 60-70k depending on the engine. Realistically, guys do try for more but I doubt they get it.

Absolutely brilliant vehicle. I picked mine up for 55k. Similar to the one you're selling with a bit more mileage though.

The km's are low for the year. If its a 4.7 V8 or a 2.7 then you could expect around the R100k mark, less if its the nasty 3.1

x2. Between R90k and R100k depending on the overall condition inside and out.

I traded my 2002 4.7 Overland with 132000ks. for R75000 about a year ago. They(a Jeep dealer) sold it for R125000.

I assure you, I am!!!!!! Only had it for 6 days though...
I am somewhat amazed at the fuel consumption, at one stage I was down to 14.2L/100km (now back up to 15 )

    Back on topic....

I see there is a car dealer in PE selling a Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 2002 Diesel with about 140000km for about R115000

Are the diesels more expensive than the petrol??

In my search over the past few months the 2.7 did seem a bit more expensive, at least the asking prices seemed higher than the V8. I saw many 2001/2002 models going for between R 75k and R 100k. Although I think the R 100k is probably pushing it just a bit, but with low mileage it might well sell.

Should be able to get that trading in on another vehicle. Saves you the hassle of selling privately.
