Default Tectyl treatment on defender chassis.

    Morning all

I'm planning to treat the inside of the chassis and all the cavities with some tectyl using a paraffin gun. Heard guys mixing it with oil to keep it sticky. Has anyone done this before? What about some paraffin?

    Any advice would be appreciated.

    Hi alpaca

Get hold of one of the panel shops in Durban offering this treatment. If done properly, it really works. They can advise you what is the best method. I had this done to some of our vehicles back in the 70's in Switzerland, because of the salt that was put on the roads during winter to melt the snow and ice.
