After looking at the pics and stuff on this Buffelspoort trail you might just rename it "AquaCab" after that trail.

I will give them to andre and he can send or post them to you. The last hurdle i think morne called the figure 8 you took 6 attempts so we were all just about leaving to get the recovery strap and your cruiser JUMPED the hill by about one metre. couldnt get the photo untill next time Cheers IAN

    Hey Guys.

Sorry, I posted my initial THANK YOU in the wrong place, so here it is again.

Offroad Addict - It was great meeting you, and once again a GREAT BIG THANK YOU for being stuck with me for a whole day in your vehicle, but it was an awesome experience and GREAT FUN to say the least. I learnt a hell of a lot from you in the process and most importantly - DONE THAT GOT THE T-SHIRT.

Bongani - Thank you also for showing us what can be done on the dunes and how easy it can look if you have all the experience in the world - Dankie vir die koffie ook.

JohanGPS. - It was great meeting you and your lovely wife also.

    Spike - Thanks Boet ! ! !

    Cool stuff JeepOnly.

I was pretty surprised how quickly you mastered the sandboarding. Way way cool! Pitty there are no photos of it.

You will have to join us again, this time to take some photos and video!

Angeline did take some great pics, and I am sure she will post some when she has a little time on her hands.

Next time round may actually be very soon, and I hope to drive down this time as I would love to play the dunes in the GC. I already know that the Jeep can do it, but it would be interesting to see if the Jeep can do it with me behind the wheel

Hi Morne the sand was pretty hard so it was relatively easy for me(small stuff) but is it more difficult when the sand is soft. Also with sand boarding if the sand is dry and soft is it much better?

Ian, I prefer soft sand, its much safer... (its not sometimes hard or sometimes soft)

With sandboarding hard sand is very fast but there is little control. With soft sand it is a bit slower but it can be equaly fast with the proper wax but you will get much more control for turning etc etc.

So lets see if we can get you on a sandboard again.
