Default Weather in Kruger (Satara & Letaba)

    Hi Guys,

We are going to KNP for the school holidays - Satara and Letaba.
We are going to be camping with two small kids (3 and 5), and I
need to know what the weather is like there this time of the year - especially the nights.

My wife is planning to pack for all eventualities..., but I don't want to take along extra blankets / jackets / etc / etc for all four of us if it's going to be warm enough to sleep with just a PT short.
On the other hand...I definitely DON'T want to tell her to leave the stuff here, and then it's 5-10 degrees at night

Any info from the guys living in the area will be appreciated.

    Thx
    Jacques Joubert

Both will be HOT if the sky is clear, night time can cool down a bit but nothing to stress about, not winter conditions. Satara has dry heat and if the wind isnt blowing it gets very hot. Letaba is higher and in the camp its gets quite humid at times. No need for blanckets if you have sleeping bags, perhaps take a drymac for the little ones for in the morning & evening but in general im sure you will be plenty warm enough.

I just checked on the weather site and Skukuza has lowest temp of 18deg at night at the moment so the others wont be far off.

    Thanks for the feedback.

I'll also start keeping an eye on the weather sites this week

    Thanks for the offer, Hugos.

We're in Satara from 26/03/2012 to 30/03/2012 and in Letaba from 30/03/2012 to 03/04/2012, so we'll miss you.
I'll keep an eye out for the Jeep on the roads
You can look for a White Vito with a CY* registration number.

Enjoy your stay - we;re looking forward to this a lot
