Ek gooi maar 1 keer ligte...

Moet se, is nogal lekker om 'n Amarok te sien. Word sommer weer jaloers as ek een sien as ek in die Isuzu ry (werk). Wil dan sommer huis toe gaan en die Amarok gaan ry...

    Hi All,

I'll take this opertunity to "brag" in a diffrent way...
    Here are my photos.

I'm a major VW fan and also included the photos of all my previous VW's.
This brings back all the good memories......GOOD TIMES!!!

    Current:

    1.)Touareg TDi R5

    History:
1.) 71' Beetle - My pride and joy. I built it completely from the ground up myself.(Sold her 2 years ago.)
2.) Jetta CSX - SWAMBO had the little red Golf I in the background. (I actually never took photos of that car. )
3.) Golf IV TDi - Best TDi ever!!!

I really should have better pictures of my 'mechanical kids', but for now I can post these ones.

As you can see SWAMBO has this undying need to try and fill any possible space available with shopping. The pics of the loaded cars signify a typical trip back from Cape Town if we visited.

Also included is a pic of the CC I traded when I bought the Touareg.

LOL you are lucky you reside in the sticks. With your SWAMBO's habits, it would be very dangerous to stay near a shopping mall.

Well until fairly recently the T3 Syncro is the only reason there has been a "Volkswagen" section on this forum so here are some pics of mine!

Whoa! Where did your bus get air during the deep part of that river drive? The whole engine must have been under water...?: eek:

This is what I love about the Syncro. It's very discreet. It comes standard with a snorkel that comes up to almost roof height. But it's hidden inside the airvent at the back. Also the breathers for the gearbox and diff are routed to high up in the engine bay. But mostly if you maintain some momentum the wake behind keeps the engine clear of the water anyway.

I posted this in another thread but take a look if you haven't seen it. Great Syncro river crossing footage!
