Default Reverse gear on in a 6 speed manual Rubicon

    Hi Guys

From day one selecting reverse has always been a little tricky, it feels like its in but then some times pops out or grinds unless i double check every time....I dont suppose this is normal is it?

    Thanks
    Jayson

Select first, then second and then reverse. Aligns it all to engage reverse easier...learned that driving old Alfa Romeo's where the syncromesh in the gearbox was worn a bit.

My CRD unlimited Highsport 6 speed does exactly the same. I keep the gear lever pulled back until the Jeep start moving backwards.
