Not yet, I've always been keen to know and finally saw this thread again and it triggered my interest. At least now I know they are just out of reach of my budget if I look at Autotrader

    Gen1 SWB ±1981-±1991

Usually 2.5 TD, but there were a few 3.0 petrol V6.
In other markets also a 2.4 4-cyl petrol.

Great cars. Most of the colt suspension parts fit.

    Just check for rust.

Hello KURT, I'm taking a chance here, but see your comment on no more dash rattles and brackets. How do I get more info on this or who can I contact?

Default Re: Pajero Legend 2 information

    Hi people

I am interested to buy a legend 2 LWB and are struggling to get answers from sales people.
If anyone bought a Legend 2 and can share experience it will be appreciated.

    1. I am not interested in the versiersuiker Nudge bar. I am hoping to get credit from the dealer to use for other accessories available at discounted price as part of the Legend package. Has anyone else manage to do this?

    2. What brand are the Foam cell shocks (available as an additional Legend option)? Are they any good. How does it change the ride compared to the standard Pajero shocks? Do you gain height?

    3. Are the Yokohama Geolanders 265/60 R18 that comes out standard with the Legend any good?

    4. Frontrunner roof rack (available as an additional Legend option) - does the skylight clash when in tilted position?

    5. Does the legend come standard with an extra battery? One sales person seemed to think so.

I would like to hear general impressions from Legend 2 owners as well please.

The foam cell shocks are iron man i believe and are not bad.
The geolanders are not bad tyres at all and are good on and off road.
I am sure there was an extra battery in the boot and a compressor pump built into the engine bay of the legend.
Not sure how intrusive the roofrack is to the sunroof but if some of the things are not your taste then mabye try get a good deal on a standard unit and add what you want rather

I had a Frontrunner on my Pajero and was never an issue with the Sunroof whilst in tilt mode. Just make sure they fit the higher foot brackets. Think it is 60mm Front and rear and 40mm in the middel. You will see on the Frontrunner website there are two options. Take the taller one.

    Middag almal.

    Default General Pajero Information

    Middag forum,

Ek sal graag wil hoor van ‘Blister fender’ 2.8 TDi LWB manne (2000) model ivm diesel verbruik.
Elders op internet sien ek word beweer die outjies is maar redelik aan die swaar kant nl. 7 km/l. Ekself kry meestal 7,13 en by uitsondering 8,15 bv. (Gesin van 6 met gewone Bushbaby wa sonder tent).
    Bande is 31x10.5 15”

My vraag is, is daar beproefde modifikasies om nader aan 10 km/l te kom - wat moeite werd is. Ek het ‘n mooi opgepaste voorbeeld en sal graag voertuig wou hou as daar salf te smeer is...!?
    Groetes,
    Albert.

Daai is goeie verbruik as jy n bushbaby sleep met 6ense in die kar.

Jy gaan nie veel beter kry nie.

As jy rerig minder brandstof wil gebruik, kan jy bande bietjie harder pomp en stadiger ry.
