    Default Pajero Specs

    Hi Friends,

My local 4x4 Dealer is having trouble to find out what kind of axles and ratios.
I got on my Pajero, he has run the VIN but got no results at all.
He's even asking me where my Pajero was manufactured.

I thought they are all made in Japan, right?

Well, here's my VIN, maybe someone in the Forum could give me an idea where to look, or how to find out what differential size i have....

    7.25" or 8"

    VIN: JMBORV430WJ00329
    1997 Pajero LWB V6 3000 24V with Auto Transmission

    Thanks and cheers,

    Chris

Your car was manufactured in Japan (thats the first J) and is a Mitsubishi (thats the first M). It was manufactured in the Nagoya factory (thats the last J)

For some comprehensive info on ratios, take a look at this thread: http://www.pajerio.com/forum/change-...a-parts?page=1 where there is a detailed list of Motor and Gearbox Combos.

That sport used to belong to Shanee on the forum here! Recognized it from pics he posted on the Pajero Sport thread. Why don't you PM him for info.

    Look at the fenders.
If they are 'flat', its not a blister fender.
If they have 'blisters', it is.

What is the best oil to use in a 3.5 v6 (6G74) petrol engine. I know the diesel guys swear by Delo 400.

Does anybody have details of exactly what date the 140KW version of the Gen4 3.2DiD was released in SA, or how would one distinguish between the two when looking at the car and/or Engine number? I know it was late 2010 or early 2011.

Kurt It was 1 June 2010 according to the Auto Dealers Guide. Old M&M code was 45090553 and new one 45090554. Hope that helps
